Community Haven House is a safe and welcoming place for Eau Claire's unhoused population to find relief from harsh outdoor conditions at times when other facilities aren't available. A small staff oversees operations and coordinates with volunteers and donors to provide services for our neighbors most in need. 

 

In addition to offering a respite from the weather, Community Haven House provides access to food-share services, workforce resources, training and harm reduction tools, and some hygienic upkeep.

Community Haven House is located at 412 Washington St.. Funding is provided by the City of Eau Claire American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds via Eau Claire County and Catholic Charities.

We need volunteers and additional funding to support and expand our current hours of operation and services. Anyone over the age of 18 years can volunteer, and donations of any size are appreciated.
